A Little more MAC Haulage…

I did a second pass at Peacocky just to make sure that nothing else stood out… I was able to find one eyeshadow that’s not so easily dupeable: Unflappable.

I also paid closer attention to Champale… and the only thing that really stood out to me was the Paint Pot in Dangerious Cuvee…

and with flash…

I like the Unflappable eyeshadow because it’s not quite the dirty grey that it looks in the pot. It acutally is a really dark grey purple. It also helps that the shadow pots are bigger than typical MAC size… more like the size of their mineralize eyeshadows. I don’t know why everyone was raving about the texture of these shadows though. They’re just OKAY. Not super creamy or anything. They have decent color payoff… better than what I’ve seen from MAC of late.

I like the Dangerous Cuvee Paint Pot because of its color (a greyish purple) and because it behaves like traditional MAC Paint Pots. I’ve found that MAC collections that include greasepaint sticks or paint pots are typically of much more inferior quality. The color tends to skip, and it does not stay put like the permanent counterparts. The other three Paint Pots in the Champale collection unfortunately fit that description. They’re just mediocre in quality and color. But Dangerous Cuvee stood out because I got a solid color swatch with the first swipe, and the color did not budge afterwards.

That’s it! A little MAC mini haulage on a weekend day. Ciao for now!
