Shinto Clinical: By Kimora Lee Simmons

The woman who coined the term “Fabulosity” is at is again…
Kimora Lee Simmons is set to release ‘Shinto Clinical‘ — a cozy line of skin care that is touted as agreeable for ‘all’ skin types.
From the KLS website:

“I’m so excited to bring this brand to women of all ages and complexions everywhere.
It has been (and continues to be) a labor of love.
I’m even more excited for Shinto Clinical’s worldwide debut this February 24 on QVC.
I hope to see you all there.
Without further ado, I present to you…Shinto Clinical by Kimora Lee Simmons.
Beautiful Skin is Within.”

First Impressions:
The brand LOOKS expensive. The boxes are textured and beautiful. The containers are sleek, and weighted like glass (although they are plastic). The serums and liquids are in airless pumps, and the toner is a ‘spray.’ LOVE that.

Makeup wise, there is a lash growth serum (that I have not tried), and a makeup primer called “Pore No More.” I used it today, and I found it universally translucent (despite its clay color). It’s a mattifier, like most primers, and goes on sheer. It is possible to use too much; I had a bunch of gross residue on my hands after putting it on… turns out I pumped out too much product.

The line is currently undergoing trial for Agenda Magazine (which  means 30 days), so I’ll have much more to say about it when that is over. I can say, just based on looking at/testing the products over the course of 24 hours, that the toner is amazing. Ditto for the cream moisturizer. All of the products smell clean, and absorb beautifully.
The products make their public debut on February 24th, on QVC
It’s not a stretch to say that Kimora Lee Simmons likely has a winner on her hands.
