I used the other MAC Metal X cream, and this one creased much worse than the first. This time I even used a base. I think I’m going to treat it like the Chanel Creams and put them over powders.
Okay… maybe not gold. More like Bronze.
I used the new Metal X Cream Shadow from MAC (Venetian Tarnish) and Chanel Pencil in Grenat to get the job done:
Creasing… yes. But on these oily lids, I’m not really complaining. It IS a cream shadow in the truest sense of the word. Next time I’ll use a base, and see what happens.
The MAC Metal X Collection promised a new and improved version of the company’s cream shadows. The old shadows tended to skip, the pigmentation was suspect, and they didn’t hold up under pressure. I have to say, someone at MAC is paying attention and taking notes, because these new shadows are AWESOME.
Two shadows came home with me: Venetian Tarnish and Vintage Coin.
