FOTD: Brown Pencil Smoke

I wanted to see just how well the new Make Up For Ever Aqua Shadow Pencils would perform in a pinch. I tossed together a daytime smoke using just the brown pencil and the peach shimmer one…

Amore Pacific Foundation (206)
Chanel Pressed Powder (Dore)
Chanel Blush in Malice
Bobbi  Brown Shimmer Brick in Nectar
MUFE Aqua Shadow Pencil in 2E (lids/waterline)
MUFE Aqua Shadow Pencil in 26E (crease)
Armani Eyes To Kill Stretch Mascara
Lipstick Queen Lipstick in Saint Coral

FOTD: Warm Shimmer Wash

I mixed shimmers for this… but kept the overall look ‘warm.’ Back to the Senna Palettes… love these things!

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in Malaga
Kevyn Aucoin Radiant Diaphanous Powder
Chanel Blush in Malice
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Rose Gold
Laura Mercier Cream Shadow in Rose Gold (base)
Senna Eyeshadow in Legend (lids)
Senna Eyeshadow in Raisin Black (outer lid/under waterline)
Senna Eyeshadow in Amethyst (crease)
Senna Eyeshadow in Mars Black (lashline)
Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion (waterline)
Armani Eyes To Kill Stretch Mascara
Rouge d’ Armani Sheer in Coral 300
Anastasia Lip Gloss in Bellini

FOTD: Shimmer & Peach

I couldn’t WAIT to test drive the Estee Lauder Foundation and the new Chanel Blushes. For my first go, I used the blush in Malice:

Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid Makeup (5WN1)
Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder
Chanel Blush in Malice
Senna Eyeshadow in Incense (crease, below waterline)
YSL Shocking Liner (lashline)
Guerlain Retractable Eye Pencil in #1 (gold)
Guerlain Noir G Mascara

Blushed: Chanel’s Malice & Tumulte

Chanel released two new blushes for the season… Malice: a rich peachy pink, and Tumulte: a cool rosy pink. I tried to choose between them… really I did. But alas, both  made their way home with me.

Malice is on the left, Tumulte is on the right.

I recommend a light touch with both of them… they are very pigmented. I love them both. I think they’re not just good for the season… but all year ’round.
