FOTD: Garden Edition (2)

I went back into the Dior ‘Garden Edition’ quint for this FOTD. I used the green and pink colors, then brought them together with a bit of deep brown.

*When working on medium to dark skin tones, the best way to bring ‘brighter’ or ‘pastel’ colors together is with a neutral deeper tone, like brown, or dark grey*

Senna Barely Base in Medium
Chanel Blush in Imprevu
Guerlain Sun In The City Illuminating Powder (highlight)
Dior ‘Garden Edition’ Eyeshadow Quint:
Green Eye Shadow (lids)
Pink Eye Shadow (above crease)
NARS Eyeshadow in Mekong (lashline/outer crease/under waterline)
Guerlain Retractable Pencil in #1 (waterline)
Guerlain Noir G Mascara
Chanel Lip Pencil in Nude
Make Up For Ever Rouge Natural Lipstick in N6

FOTD: Frosted

The frosted finish of this look was not what I intended, but it kind of came out that way. On the up side, the frost really only showed up with the flash of my camera. In natural light, it read more like a normal shimmer:

NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in Malaga
Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder
Chanel Blush in Imprevu
Chanel Illusion d’ Ombre in Emervielle (lashline to brow)
MAC Pigment in Lithe (lids)
Louise Young Eyeshdow in Pom Pom (crease)
YSL Shocking Pen Liner
Chanel Eye Pencil in Rose Platine
Guerlain Noir G Mascara
Hourglass Lip Stain in Petal

Blushed: Chanel Joues Poudre in Imprevu

I don’t know how I’ve never seen this before. Chanel’s blush in Imprevu recently caught my eye, and it looks like the perfect summer blush shade. It’s a dark rosy bronze, and perfect for warmer skin tones.

Beautiful, right? I love it. I know I’m going to get tons of use out of it, especially for Summer.
