FOTD: Extreme Blue & Purple

I put the NARS Arabian Nights Palette to the test. But instead of a purple paint pot, I used blue (MAC Imaginary) to bring out the middle shadow in the trio:

FACE
Dior Skin Nude Foundation (051)
Korres Concealer in Tan
Rock & Republic Blush in Tease
EYES
MAC Paint Pot in Imaginary (lid/under waterline)
NARS Arabian Nights Trio: Middle Color (lids/under waterline)
Chanel Les Perles de Ombre: Burgundy Pearl (crease)
Tarte Eyeshadow in Werewolf (brows)
Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara
LIPS
Gloss d’Armani in Pink 507

MAC Posh Paradise (The Paint Pots)

Okay, MAC has answered the call for less mediocrity and more magnificence…

The Paint Pots from the new Posh Paradise Collection are AWESOME. Every single one is noteworthy… and MAC mixed it up with a combination of mattes and shimmers. Each one is pigmented… absolutely NO skipping… and easy to apply and remove.

I swatched them using just my index finger…
Imaginary

Treasure Hunt
Idyllic
(looks a lot like Artifact Paint Pot)
Genuine Treasure
(if Illamasqua Ore Pigment was a Paint Pot)
Nubile
(like Painterly Paint Pot with a shot of pink)
Pure Creation
Hyperviolet
Half-Wild
I love them ALL. Seriously, I tried to choose and couldn’t. The most noteworthy for me are Genuine Treasure, Pure Creation, and Half-Wild. These are certainly worth a look and (if you can swing it) the purchase price. MAC  really did well this time around.
