FOTD: Bold Line/Bright Lip

I had a little time on my hands today… so I decided to work a bit more on one of my biggest challenges: the bold eyeline. I’m not good at it at all… and I always need time to get it right. Here’s how it turned out:

FACE
Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
Bobbi Brown Concealer in Honey
Guerlain Giant Mosaic Bronzer
Sleek Contour Highlight in Dark (as blush)
EYES
MAC Pigment in Naked Dark (all over)
Louise Young Eyeshadow in Pom Pom (crease)
Shu Uemura Painting Gel Liner (lashline/waterline/tightline)
Make Up For Ever Lash Fibers
Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara
LIPS
Haughty Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Break A Leg

Lip Service: Haughty Cosmetics Swatches

As promised, here are swatches of the Haughty Cosmetics Lip Glosses. I cannot tell you guys how good these glosses feel! I’ve never used anything like them. They are not greasy, not sticky, and highly pigmented. I don’t know how they formulated these glosses, but the payoff is well worth it.

Break a Leg
(orange/coral)
Polish It Off
(nude)
Know Your Audience
(copper)
Speak Up
(peach)
Take a Risk
(Strawberry Pink)
Overdeliver
(violet/pink)
Make A Statement
(brown)

If you notice, the color and finish of these glosses are very similar to Chanel’s Rouge Coco Shine. Polish It Of reminds me of Canotier, Take a Risk reminds me of Monte Carlo,  and Break A Leg reminds me of Sari d’Eau.
They are more weightless than Rouge Coco Shine (if you can imagine that. The Chanel Lippies are pretty weightless), but the finish is mostly pigment, with just a hint of shine.
