We’re gearing up for the big ‘thaw’ as Spring 2013 approaches. We thought the best way to get everyone’s skin ready to show for the warmer months, was to boost it with healing fruit acids and uplifting floral oils!
So we’re boosting a Habibi Favorite: POMEGRANATE. The new blend will contain even more Vitamin C packed Pomegranate juice… to help brighten and improve the overall look of your skin. We’re also boosting the level of Organic Essential ingredients to support the new blend.
LEMON TEA is coming back! For a limited time, the smooth ‘sweet tart’ fragrance will be back on the Habibi roster. We keep limited quantities of this amazing blend because that’s the best way to keep it absolutely fresh. For those of you who listed this fragrance as a favorite, look for it to show up around Mid-March.
PINK GRAPEFRUIT will make it’s debut on the eve of Spring 2013! This fresh squeezed blend will not only brighten your skin, it’ll help ‘lift’ your spirits as well! We worked hard to find the perfect balance between sweet and sour, to create a fragrance that mixes perfectly with our best selling products.
We’re also gearing up for a sale to celebrate the arrival of Spring! So stay tuned for updates, and HAPPY SHOPPING!
Consider yourselves the first to know that all Habibi Bath & Body lotions are on sale!
Sale ends April 20th.

We’ve been working on this for a while:
We didn’t want to jump on the Argan Oil Bandwagon when it first became all the rage. We currently use a custom blend of nut and plant oils that works beautifully in all of our moisturizer products. But, I personally wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I did some research.
Here’s what I found:
Argan oil is produced from the kernels of the Argan tree, which grows in Morocco. It’s valued for its nutritive, cosmetic and numerous medicinal properties. Argan oil remains one of the rarest oils in the world – due to the small and very specific growing areas. Argan Oil is known for its high penetrative properties. Works well on skin and hair, absorbs quickly, and encourages natural lipid production in skin.
Now, its rarity might explain the price point. Argan Oil is NOT cheap, not retail or wholesale. If you want it, you certainly have to pay for it. It took some doing, but I’ve finally been able to find Certified Organic Argan Oil, at a price that’s not cost-prohibitive in terms of retail.
So, starting in January 2012… the formulations for our Body Balms, Body Scrubs, and Body lotions will change. They will be improved, with the addition of Certified Organic Argan Oil, and replace several other oils that we’ve already decided we can do without.
We’ve already begun the reformulation process, and we assure you that the basic makeup of the formulas will NOT change. We’ve tested the Argan replacement, and found that the products perform even better than before.
Habibi was formed in 2003, after a dear friend of mine insisted that I start making good use of my mother’s formulations. I’d been blending balms and scrubs for years, and giving them away as gifts. But after a little prodding, a lot of research, and a lot more start-up $$$, Habibi Bath & Body was formed.
Since then, the company has slowly gathered a cult following… we enjoy an extremely loyal, repeat customer base. Most of our clients are on a first name basis, and we’ve begun to anticipate their needs in terms of fragrance and formulation.
Now, we’re looking ahead to 2012, and that means lots of changes, updates, and possible discontinued items. We’ve got a pretty good gauge on what our customers want, so we’d like to focus on that.
Here are some of the new pictures, set to hit the site in 2012…
