FOTD: SugarPill Heart Breaker

I decided to use ALL FOUR COLORS in the SugarPill Heart Breaker palette… SMH. I think it came out OOOOKAY. I know I can do better. But in my defense, I wore this all day (in the daylight), so I went lighter for my first go:

Amore Pacific Foundation (206)
Shu Uemura Translucent Powder
Chanel Blush in Rose Ecrin
SugarPill Heart Breaker Palette:
Acidberry on Lids
2AM through Crease
Velocity on Outer Corner
Mochi on Inner Corner
Louise Young Eyeshadow in Blackbear on lashline
Louise Young Eyeshadow in Pom Pom under waterline
Maybelline Falsies Mascara
NARS Sheer Lip Treatment in Angelique

FOTD: Orange Stuff

A little matte, a little shimmer… some sheer, some not. I mixed a lot of different textures for this FOTD, but kept the overall theme pretty ‘orange.’

Le Metier de Beaute Peau Vierge (3)
Amore Pacific Foundation (206)
YSL Cream Blush in Audacious Orange
Bare Minerals Prime Time Eyeshadow Primer
NARS Ramatuelle Trio:
Matte Apricot on lids
Shimmer Silver on inner corner
YSL Palette in #7: Orange Shimmer on crease
Louise Young Eyeshadow in Pom Pom on lashline and under waterline
Chanel Eye Pencil in Peche Cuivre on waterline
Armani Eyes to Kill Stretch Mascara
Sheer d’ Armani in Coral 300

FOTD: RCS Brilliance

I built a simple look around the new Las Vegas de Chanel RCS in Brilliance:

Amore Pacific Skin Renewal Foundation (206)
Kevyn Aucoin Radiant Diaphanous Powder
Chantecaille Aqua Blush in Brilliance
Chanel Eclosion Quad: Gold color on the lids
Tarte Eyeshadow in Werewolf in the crease
YSL Shocking Gel Liner in Deep Black on the lashline
Guerlain Retractable Gold Pencil on the waterline
Guerlain Noir G Mascara
Chanel Lip Pencil in Nude
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Brilliance

FOTD: Blue, Pink & Purple Stuff

I was in a ‘cool’ mood today… blame the weather. It’s been damp and rainy here, and I really don’t feel like doing anything but laying about. LOL But alas, there is work to be done… so I put on a ‘colorful face.’

Amore Pacific Skin Renewal Foundation (206)
Dolce & Gabanna Powder Foundation (Soft Tan)
Chanel Horizon Blush
Kevyn Aucoin Eyeshadow in Tusk (browbone)
Alima Pure Eye Liner in Soiree (crease)
Nvey Eco Color Eyeshadow in 166 (lids)
Stila Smudge Stick in Onyx (lashline and waterline)
Guerlain Noir G Mascara
Chanel Rouge Allure Laque in Stunt

FOTD: Olive Green Smoke

I used the Nvey single shadows for this look. I need other companies to take note.. these shadows are EXCELLENT.

Amore Pacific Skin Renewal Foundation
Koh Gen Do Translucent Powder
Chanel Soho Blush
Nvey Eco Organic Eyeshadow in #173 (olive) on lids
Nvey Eco Organic Eyeshadow in #170 (slate) on outer crease
Nvey Eco Organic Eyeshadow in #154 (light green) above crease
Estee Lauder Doublewear Light Eye Pencil in Forest on waterline
Guerlain Noir G Mascara
Chanel Lip Pencil in Nude
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Canotier

FOTN: Gold & Shine

I only had a bit of time to get ready, and I wanted to try the new Amore Pacific Foundation. Wow, I really like this stuff. I think it’ll work great on dry skin, as my oily skin needed a bit of blotting after about 4 hours. But overall, it held up beautifully:

Amore Pacific Skin Renewal Foundation (206)
Chantecaille Loose Powder (Shadow)
Chanel Blush in In Love
Chanel Eclosion Quad:
Gold on lids
Guerlain Retractable Eye Pencil in Gold
Guerlain Noir G Mascara
Ilia Lip Care in Arabian Knights

Luxury Grade: Amore Pacific Skin Renewal Foundation

I’m a little worried about how much I like this stuff. I  bought it on sale… on a fluke, just to see what happened. I got it online (I know! SMH to me), crossed my fingers, and hoped for the best. I was so worried that the color would be off (yellow base/206), but it turned out to be PERFECT.

The packaging is just ridiculous…  like, it’s completely over the top (in a good way?). It takes a bit of doing to get to the product itself. That made me worried too. I’ve found that sometimes when packaging is just doing the MOST in terms of trying to impress you, it’s because the actual product is bogus.

That’s not the case with this foundation.

Odd little dispenser, right? But I love it because it’s totally sanitary. It dispenses just enough product to cover the entire face.
And the formula… omg the formula!

It’s so smooth, and it is absolutely traceless. I read somewhere that this foundation coverage was sheer… it’s not. It’s a solid medium coverage, but can be built to full coverage. There’s nothing sheer about it at all.
Now, if I had a complaint, it would be about the color range. 206 (my shade) is as dark as this foundation goes. But there is a full ‘pink based’ range in the 100’s, so fair skinned beauties can rejoice! The 200 range is yellow-based, so make your selections accordingly.
I’m really loving this foundation… and I’m really worried about that, because this can get to be an expensive habit. You can find the full line of Amore Pacific products at Neiman Marcus.
