So I layered the Lavenders because on me, neither one looks good. Bite 005 makes me look like Crackhead Kate, and Lavender Jade makes me look like I’m trying so hard to look like I’m not trying so hard. Both are doing the most on their own. But layered they really complement each other. Lavender Jade warms up 005, and 005 gives Lavender Jade the dimension it needs to sit against my warm skintone. The Chanel Lip Liner (I go through two a year. I’m not kidding) just ties it all together.

Gah, I’m still getting the hang of this light. So this one looks really out of focus to me? I’m not crazy about it. I liked the first one much better. I was further away from the light ’cause that sucker is BRIGHT. Yes, I know there’s a dimmer. I’m sure I’m properly riding the learning curve to figuring it out.

Why are my brows so RAGGEDY? Lord. I broke up with my eyebrow tech… no drama, but she is just too far away. She opened a salon on the other side of the world, and I’m kind of over cussing on the 405 for an hour to get to her just for some 20 minute brows. I gotta find someone local STAT. Problem is, I don’t wax and I’m not into threading. I also don’t want to pay a mint for a fairly simple procedure. I tweeze, so this will be very interesting. I can’t see a conversation with a waxer going well ’cause they just like to do one and done. But I get lift, and I don’t want my skin ripped at… so fingers crossed.

I should do them myself, but is it wrong to admit that I just don’t feel like it?

  1. Hi doll, I haven’t seen a post show up in my feed from you in-forever! Okay you mentioned getting used to a light (something new?) so i’ll give you a pass on this photo because I know your face and skin is much more flawless in previous photos. Happy New Year and as always, I can’ not receive comments from WordPress so stop by my blog and comment once in a blue moon!

  2. I’m trying to adjust to the Diva Light. The picture is completely out of focus… at least I think that’s the issue. This picture was taken a day after the one in the previous post, so my skin is my skin. But as you can see, they look completely different. I’m also working with a new camera so it’ll be a while before I can just snap and go. LOL
