Now about this Diva Ring Light…

I’ve had a Diva Ring light gathering dust for what seems like a million and a half years, and I finally decided to break it out and see what’s what. So I set it up, mount it on one of hubby’s old tripods and turn it on…

Now I KNOW some of ya’ll have this damn thing, so I need your help.

-Did you mount your camera and use a remote or are you holding the thing up?

-Are you using the monitor on the camera to frame the pictures? I don’t want to talk about how many times I got just an EYEBROW in the picture. SMH.

-How do you deal with the reflection in the eyes?

-How far do you need to be from this thing to keep from going blind?

I walked around seeing a ‘halo’ in my vision for far too long.

Who’s got secrets on how to use this thing? Help!

  1. I don’t have any answers for you, but I have to say you look AMAZING!

I’ve been thinking of getting a ring light for awhile and this post just convinced me to give Amazon even more of my hard earned money!

Also, I don’t think there’s anything you can do about the light’s reflection in your eyes. With strong lights aimed directly at your face it’s kinda impossible to avoid.
