Coming Up Roses: By Terry Source de Rose Hydra-Toning Lotion

By Terry is in love with all things Rose… that’s no secret. The Source de Rose Toner may be the ultimate testament to that love; it’s full of so much rosy goodness that you feel like you’re walking through a Rose Garden every time you use it.

I stumbled upon this little gem quite by accident. I had some makeup on my hand after playing around at Space NK, and needed to clean it off. One of the lovely ladies offered me the toner to use, and I fell in love.

Now as toners go, this is top of the line. As makeup removers go, it’ll do in a pinch. It’s not meant to remove makeup, but I’ve certainly been using it to soften my eye makeup and remove it. I absolutely love the way it smells. And I like the idea that it hydrates and nourishes the skin.

What it claims:
Toning and refreshing oriental rose extracts activate your skin’s micro-circulation to revive and energize. Anti-inflammatory pro-vitamin B5 calms irritation, smooths features and guarantees softness and comfort. Skin is clarified, refined and feels healthier. Pores are tightened, and your complexion revitalized.

What I can tell you is that my skin is exceptionally smooth after using this toner, especially around my eyes (which have been getting drier as I get older). I think it has something to do with the pore tightening or something. I did notice some irritation when it gets into my eyes accidentally, but otherwise it’s a very lovely experience.

This toner will set you back a bit though. A bottle of this stuff is $52. It is an amazing indulgence though.
