I know I’m way late on this, but I hadn’t really intended to get one. But Frends Beauty Supply had just one more left… and I swatched it… and I fell in love.
Yep… that’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.
The palette features three eyeshadows and a blush. The blush is, naturally, the coral color. The gold coral decoration is an overspray… it takes about four swipes to get rid of it. The dark brown color is listed as an eyeliner. But I found that it works much better as a shadow. It diffuses on contact with the skin, so I don’t feel that it’s intense enough to be used as an eyeliner.
These are the three shadow colors. Or the two shadow colors and the eyeliner color, as you like. Each of these was swatched with a medium shader brush, avoiding the overspray.
It was hard to get a swatch of the blush without all of that gold overspray. I will likely do it again, because it’s a lovely coral color once you get past the overspray.
This is a good basic palette for a quick fix. With three eye colors and a blush, you can literally put together a face in a few minutes and get on with your life. It helps that 5% (better than 0%) of sales go to save the Coral Reefs. Love Chantecaille for that.
True to the company’s image and mission, this palette is understated and elegant… and subtle in its beauty.
