Product Review: Cargo ColorStick

These are really nice. So nice, in fact, that I feel they can give the NARS Multiples are real run for the money.

I went to cash in some points at ULTA, and left with the new Cargo ColorStick in St Tropez…

I chose St Tropez because for me, its the most unique of the bunch. It has a distinct peach (not orange) color with a shot of gold. Really summery. I think that it’ll work on both warm and cool skin tones because the peach shade is so neutral. I swatched it, and was instantly sold.

One of the things I love about this product is that it’ll work fine on oily skin. It’s got a creamy texture, but the color sets in about 60 seconds and it doesn’t move. I’ve used it on my bare skin (with just a little mascara and lip gloss) and it has held up beautifully. I think this will be a definite Summer staple.

  1. This will definitely work on oily skin. I found that it really works if you blend the color in with a stiff blush brush. I put a tiny streak on my cheekbones, then blend it in with the brush. It sets on oily skin (even if you use it on bare skin, with no foundation) and wears very well. I love it.
