IMAN Cosmetics: Afterglow

I found this quite  by accident… someone  had hidden one behind the blushes at ULTA. It was so out of place that I dug it out to see what it was, and instantly fell in love. IMAN Cosmetics is such a gem… the quality of many of the products is on par with luxury brands, without the luxury price.

Isn’t that just STUNNING? It’s peach, bronze, and golden plum. The colors are all highly pigmented and work fine separately. They also blend together beautifully for a plummy/bronze glow (as you can see in my latest FOTD).

I swatched this using just my fingers. The colors are SO potent that I recommend a light touch. I put on way too much when I blended the colors to put on my face. This is going to be a summer staple. I’m sure of it. You can check out Afterglow directly HERE.

  1. Tee Hee! I initially read "I found this behind the bushes at Ulta." I reread the first paragraph because it wouldn't be fair for you to have magical makeup bushes *in addition* to your magical beauty supply stores. This blush is wonderful. Not a dud in the triad. (is it correct to call this a triad?)

  2. LOL @ you walking away with someone's hidden gem. Hopefully that Ulta restocks often so they won't be too heartbroken.I am kind of surprised at how smooth looking this highlighter is. Most of Iman's illuminating products are pretty shimmer/glitter heavy. I might have to try to find this too.

  3. Jasmine this is not glittery, but it does have a shimmer. It's very subtle though. I've only used the bronze/peach blended. I'm going to use the plum color alone and see how that works.I hope ULTA restocks soon too! But there was no way I was going to just leave it there. LOLSher, you should get it! It's a wonderful little gem.

  4. Hidden gem is right! Now I have a huge lemming for this and my crappy Ulta doesn't sell Iman 😦 I guess there aren't enough brown beauties in my area
